TRINITY COUNTY   Trinity County, a small mountain frontier county in Northern California, has over 3000 square miles and less than 14,000 population. We are known for our wilderness areas, plentiful forest, rivers and streams (for good fishing), wildlife, and gold panning. We are 93% Caucasian and 5% Native American. We have a strong volunteer base for emergency services, which includes fire fighters and first responders in 17 widely scattered communities.
